The accessible buses in my town (the ones for greater needs, as the regular buses are already accessible to wheelchairs and mobility scooters) have had the passenger door replaced with a bubble I can only guess for greater visibility. They didn't need a door there at all since the main passenger ramp door is right behind the truck cab. I believe these are Ford E series.

@DenOfEarth Wow I've never seen it on a bus here, I wonder if it would meet ADRs.
