I think it’s easy to hate on linux for the recent age verification thing but maybe we should hate the concentration of power via surveillance and angering news of horrible law changes and also the US itself for the past 2 decades instead of hating the products of their political strategies and apparent dominance of all topic. Like we all know to hate the immigration office and not immigrants so why are we hating on linux instead of, idk, hating the strategy of making people feel reluctant to speak against bad legislative decisions so they can make worse and worse laws until democracy is null. Just my opinion as someone who can’t legally vote in the country it resides in tho ^^

@[email protected] i think a lot of people simply want to do crimes on the internet and that's it. which is fair, but maybe we shouldn't advocate for that on a public network.
