For odd reasons, I have a spare MacBook Pro around. I do plan to use it for work, before selling it.

I’m keeping my main MBP on Sequoia, because Tahoe looks awful.

But my question: Should I upgrade this second MBP to Tahoe, to try it out? And/or for any features?

@ryanmiglavs I would do it for science. What’s good about OS installation on the Mac is that unlike on iOS, you can always wipe the drive and install an older version.

@tuomas_h Ah, I’ve never actually gone back in OS versions on a Mac, but I was wondering about that. Thanks for confirming!

Yeah, I’m thinking I’ll give it a spin.

I make iOS apps, so I’ve been on iOS 26 since the pre-release dev betas, but the Mac is my work machine and Tahoe has me anxious. But probably worth touring.
