Our garden is flush with sneks! Garter snakes are everywhere! We’ve never had so many at once before!

They’ve converged on the pond and I’ve already caught one trying to eat a toad that surely MUST be too big for it to swallow. The toads are in their mating frenzy so they don’t run from predators. Easy pickin’s for the snakes. 🐍

I saved this toad but the snakes will be back!
