If you are a #runner in the SF Bay Area or thereabout, you can do far worse than the Whale Run. It's up to a half marathon, in a nice out-and-back along the Mendocino coast. It's very pretty, nice and cool, and well-staffed with several drink stations and plenty of accommodations along the route.
