Star Wars Galaxies included a wearable items for the legs slot called "hot pants". They were not pants, but more appeared to be a pair of Speedo brand men's swimwear. In game culture, primarily in the various groups associated with non-combat jobs, people would wear them as a goof. There would be cantinas full of dancers and musicians wearing these while performing.
