The Indonesian music scene is huge. One of my faves.
The Rolling Stone's former producer did a bunch of projects producing Indonesian music on CDs for KFC (yes!) and he said they sold half a mil copies.. every month.
Anyway he's been there long term and doing some pretty interesting work with local acts. He's found it to be a very innovative and vibrant scene, and I agree.
