NVDA is great, and I can see how it can be a primary screen reader for a lot of people. I haven’t decided yet if that includes me. Jaws is just what I know so well.
@technocounselor I’m full time on NVDA on windows now. I cannot afford the prices so despite my affection for JAWS it’s just not an option for me anymore. Since making the leap I’ve really come to like it, much more than I thought I would. I honestly don’t think you can be truly good at using a tool like this if you’re always switching away to use another tool when it gets tricky. I’m a much better user of it now as its my only option - beside Narrator of course.
@stevenscott @technocounselor I agree, I can't afford the absurd prices Vispero are charging for Jaws, and despite its weird glitches like in terminals I like NVDA.
