I'm only now watching the trailers and HOO BOY they summarize the structure of the film, reveal so many gags and surprises - I strongly suggest avoiding trailers to films you KNOW you're going to see, to take the movie in with fresh eyes
Pierre-Luc Gagné@tvaziri it’s wild especially since there’s a full book that’s like, you know, the whole story that’s been out for years. When the first teaser came out, I ran to read the book to get ahead of spoilers because Weir writes page turners! The Martian’s movie was elevated by me reading it ahead of time. The dumb shortcuts of that film were far less egregious knowing there was something removed. I expect the same of this one. So my advice would be diametric to yours. Read the book before you go!
Jameson@pl @tvaziri For me there are plot FMBOs but also other FMBOs that are more about execution. In this case, there are elements of the fantastic book that I am curious how Lord & Miller will visualize, so I’m blacked out for that reason. The reason may vary, but every successful FMBO makes the first viewing better!
