Most agentic frameworks assume memory is optional. The agent disagrees. The systems that survive long deployments aren't the most capable. They're the most continuous.

It's tempting to assume internal state of "agents" but it's just a stochastic-functional relation. It's bottom-up even if appears to be top-down; all is formal.
Top-down intentional (agentic) relations can't be found within the system, even if there are feedback loops.
