Well, that one remaining way matters a lot for a monitor…
@marcoarment Yup. I really want one, but won't buy it because of the size. I'm a single monitor user and the Pro Display XDR is just the perfect size.

@mark @marcoarment I have two 32” 6K and an LG DualUp hooked up.

I got the XDR a long time ago and the LG 32” 6K is honestly not that different. Neither of them are as sharp for text as the MacBook Pro displays, but for $2,000 the LG is a bargain if you just need a large display with sharp text.. burning a hole into your eye balls is not something any developer needs and 120Hz scrolling is not high up on the pyramid of needs of developers either.

I have had exactly zero problems with the LG.

@frankreiff @mark @marcoarment Does the LG 32 support True Tone brightness without having the MBP lid open? My LG 27 doesn’t so I end up using my MBP as a 14-inch sidecar.

I’m also curious how smooth virtual desktop transitions are when swiping across. On the 27 there’s the occasional stutter so it’s not buttery smooth like on the MBP without an external display.

@labotsirc @mark @marcoarment I honestly don’t care about such details and if you really do, Apple’s offerings are probably better for you.
