@Eetschrijver I'm tangentially reminded of a couple of lines from the original (i.e. radio) version of #HHGTTG. Ford Prefect is warning Arthur Dent that the spaceship they've hitched a ride on is about to enter hyperspace.

"It's unpleasantly like being drunk."
"What's so unpleasant about being drunk?"
"You ask a glass of water!"

(Connection: maybe every sufficiently advanced teleportation is indistinguishable from being drunk.)
