Hey @chatcontrol, can you fix the positions for Estonian MEPs, because AFAIK Jaak Madison and Jana Toom oppose extension of Chat Control 1.0. Madison was the only Estonian MEP who voted for amendment 5 on 11th and Jana Toom was absent, but has otherwise been against Chat Control in her statements since 2023. @kkarhan interestingly enough it seems that treason does not constitute a criminal offence in Germany(or the EU). In Germany only providing a foreign actor with state secrets does constitute treason(Landesverrat) or a coup d'état (with force). 🤔
But I couldnt find anything else on a quick search.

  • It's just harder to do as it requires a complex of felonies and a conspiracy to do so...

@echo_pbreyer OK but seriously is there nothing in the law that can prevent this? Submitting a thing again and again until it passes (aka not respecting the democratic vote when it doesn't go your way) is clearly an abuse of the process, and there should be a way to shut these fuckers up once and for all.
