Not been seeing a lot of spicy red peppers to ferment and make hot sauce with, so I bought a jar of Trader Joe’s fermented Calabrian chilies and used that. Pretty good, but they use oil in it and that required some tinkering to get the flavor to be less oily (a small bit of molasses for the win)
I also made toum with store-bought peeled garlic. Sometimes, you just don’t have the patience.
@samerfarha when I lived alone I always bought peeled garlic. I still would except Nam prefers to peel her own and also for me...
@beerandashot I don’t mind peeling them, and often actually like it, but too little time this weekend
