Sadly, some librarians in Big Island, Hawai'i are on the side of fascism. Being a librarian is a sacred calling, not a paycheck. A librarian should be champion of freedom, a guardian of knowledge, an embedded member of the community helping those in the most need, get the educational resources they need to help themselves. All librarians I ever met were up to that. Until I turned #whistleblower :
