HEY LAZYFED!

Who sucks least these days at multi-node wifi?

(Be aware that the answer is NOT, repeat NOT ASUS, due to their "eh, dgaf, diaf" reaction to botnet-enabling security flaws.)

Thanks!

@moira

I have 5 multi-node installs (3 homes, 1 ranch, 1 fairground-sized music festival setup)
Ubiquiti is good for P2P/P2MP between buildings, + private non-cloud cameras for helping watch over elders prone to falling
Ubiquiti AP multi-node mesh on-property doesn't suck if you also need remote management
AMZN Eero AP mesh behind P2P or router are great for normal setups
Aruba doesn't suck if you have the $$$ & staff. No for me 😬
Family had no joy w/ ASUS; bad hardware many times 😕

@tab2space I've been wanting to play with Ubiquiti for a while, next time we properly re-architect i'm seriously going to look into it

(right now we have no PoE and yeah we could do it... probably... but not without... annoyance and delay. particularly delay, which is bad in the context.)

(next time tho')
