If his description of teleportation is accurate, that really would suck. The whole point of teleportation is to avoid the tedium of Newtonian travel. Otherwise just fly economy class.

@mattblaze I’m not a neuropsychologist, but now that I think of it, it sounds to me more like dissociative amnesia/fugue or else temporary global amnesia.

When I was a kid, I had this view of adults as mature, rational, logical people that had everything figured out. Sure, there were crazy people, but they were easily sorted from the normal adults, and everyone could tell the difference, right?

These days, I'm relieved when 1 in 10 adults meet my childhood idea of an adult.
