Remember that you can check out entire seasons of TV shows from the library to binge watch and they won't have stupid commercials and they won't be giving money to some app.

I rarely find anything on TV to watch (more of a reader) but when I do I just wait for the library to get it.

I may not be able or willing to watch anything that's on Amazon prime or whatever but I don't have a shortage of things to watch either.

I prefer physical media anyway, even if I'm just borrowing it.
