@jmorris @jcr Yeah, I realized that a bit ago. For that reason, and since in that case power delivery is a plus, I'm looking at this unit that is a bit less expensive. It doesn't have any USB-C outputs, but anything I'd want to connect (like external SSD) would typically be USB-3.0 type A compatible (often along with USB-C):

@jmorris @jcr This does require a driver of course once you go beyond a single external monitor. My usual setup (where I sit right now) is two.
@jmorris @jcr Actually, I have a cheap usb-c hub that I could daisy chain if I really, really wanted to ... it has one usb-c output.
