#Google needs to provide users on the Web, phones, and any other platforms a ONE BUTTON way to turn off ALL sharing of any and all user data or actions with #Gemini #AI -- and to completely delete Gemini from their devices.
No more of this bullsh*t confusion about global settings vs. app data, Gemini apps vs. Gemini settings and more. It's a total train wreck and I don't blame anyone for not understanding whether or not their data is going to Gemini, because I AM NOT SURE MYSELF on my own devices!
This is either gross incompetence on Google's part or is being done purposely to make it as difficult as possible for users to understand whether or not Gemini is interacting with them, either obviously or behind the scenes.
If Google won't do this on their own, there need to be laws to force them. Enough of this garbage and manipulation. ENOUGH!

***** People are asking me if the email from Social Security yesterday was a scam *****
I'm getting many people asking me to "investigate" if the email they received yesterday touting the fascist GOP budget bill, that will enrich billionaires and throw over 10 million people off healthcare, and makes misleading claims about seniors not paying taxes on Social Security benefits, was some sort of phishing attack or other scam, the kind that Social Security is always warning about (and in fact, is a topic they send emails about occasionally, warning you about such scam emails).
Apparently all Social Security beneficiaries for whom Social Security has email addresses and has been sending emails in the past, received this propaganda email, which it noted in fine print at the bottom was "produced and disseminated at taxpayer expense".
And yes, it definitely IS a scam. It's Social Security Administration propaganda from Trump. It's not trying to get you to send money, it's trying to sell you fascist lies.

If there were silent fireworks, that would be OK (shades of "Hushaboom" from "Rocky and Bullwinkle"). But New Year's Day and July 4 (in the U.S.) are terrible days for animals, and many dogs and cats are lost each year when they run off in panic. Take care -- they need your support! I also don't like loud booms myself. So there's also that.
