I didn't watch #StarTrekENT when it first aired. The appearance of Riker and Deanna must've blown everybody away? And with Riker promoted to Captain. Did they keep their appearance a secret? I hope so. Do you remember your reaction? #StarTrek #StarTrekTNG
@Phangurl It was wild, for sure. Definitely bittersweet now that we look back and it was the final episode.
@terrance_shaw so cool! Yeah, very bittersweet.

@Phangurl My memory trying to recall it as a kid, before I could rewatch it, mislead me to think the series retconned the uniform changes from 2150s era to mid-2360s era instead of jumping to late-2260s (TOS).

Unrelated, but it wasnโ€™t till last year when I spoke with Anthony Montgomery himself that I learned UPN didnโ€™t have a large broadcast market. I guess I was lucky for living in Southern California.

@jacobrealo oh wow. I didn't know that about UPN. Seeing things live was hard if you came back late from a commercial you could miss important details.
You got to talk to Anthony? Like while he was on a panel or ?

@Phangurl
I think my reaction was something along the lines of โ€œThey killed Trip? And it was all just a holodeck program? The hell did I just watch?โ€

Left a sour taste, I remember that.

@Phangurl People were *pissed*. I was โ€œmehโ€, except for the Enterprise-D being in HD for the first time which was neat. But a lot of folks *really* did not like that as the finale, and considered the two-parter before it as the โ€œrealโ€ finale for the series.
