@MaSch Lake Superior is so large that it didn't cool down enough to form ice until February, and it doesn't usually freeze over. We get pack ice that goes in and out with the winds. This ice formed a couple of days ago and was washed up onto shore. I still have 3 feet of snow in my yard.

@MaSch I'm hoping the snow lasts until April or mid-April. I'd like to get more Nordic skiing in before it melts.
