addictions i've bucked:
nicotine was easy enough to stop smoking, but the cravings were horrendous for the longest time, relapse was a real possibility for at least a decade, or so.
alcohol was much harder to stop, i wanted to quit for years, but it was a real crutch. when i finally did stop drinking, i had basically no cravings at all... every now and again i 'miss' certain drinks, but that's not the same as some part of your insides physically YEARNING for the thing, like with nicotine.
