The right and far-right in Portugal are rejecting #science in order to attack #transgender people. These fundamentalists have approved a bill that treats #trans identity as a disease, contrary to the evidence of the Portuguese Medical Association, the Portuguese Psychological Association, dozens of health experts, and the position of the WHO. Today is a sad day for democracy and human rights in Portugal!
