@dgregor79 Unfortunately, what this is doing is setting our allies’ expectations to match every other nations’ expectations of the United States. E.g. Chile, Iran, Nicaragua, etc. and even a number of our allies where we’ve interfered in elections and violated their sovereignty in a variety of other ways.

@dgregor79 And the thing that _really_ freaked out Europe was that USians were capable of installing something like that as President. And then that they seem to be helpless at getting rid of him.

He needed to be impeached Jan 22nd, 2017. The next best time is now.

@quixote Agreed! The U.S. system has utterly failed at holding him to account, many times. Our system was not resilient against the shock of a completely lawless administration that managed to capture a majority of the other branches of government.

He’s been impeached twice. Never convicted because you need 60 of the 100 senators to convict. If the Dems would have 60 Senators to vote, guaranteed 1 would acquit.
