Brett Terpstra 🏴🐈⬛There's this sound like a phone on vibrate stuck under a cushion coming from my living room. I can't hear it from any other room in the house, but from the living room it *sounds* like it's coming from another room (I've looked under cushions). It happens at a relatively regular interval, almost like deep breathing. It comes and goes. I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is. It's very faint — I had to point it out to Elle (who has much, much better hearing than I). This might be what ultimately kills me.
Chris Mackay 🇨🇦@ttscoff Is it coming from outside (but just happens to be most easily heard from the living room)? I sometimes have a hard time distinguishing distant (but loud) sounds from close (but faint) sounds.
@tantramar Fair question. There’s a constant rumble in one room that I also haven’t been able to track down, but that one I have looked outside for, as the well pump is right outside that room (but silent). All these vibrations…
Chap Lovejoy@ttscoff I feel this. Every few days i hear a beeping in my office like a casio watch down a well. Can not find it. It may end me.
@chaptastic If there’s any upside to an apocalypse, it’s that these noises would eventually go away.
