If you are thinking about opening an account with Nuveen, don't.

I am dealing with a lot of bullshit right now with my father's estate, and Nuveen is the clear winner in the bullshit game.

If you die as a Nuveen account holder, your grieving heirs will have to navigate through a Kafkaesque scavenger hunt to get something from a third party financial institution called a medallion, which is just a fancier and more exclusive version of notarization for completely arbitrary reasons.

One of the few redeeming qualities of golden age Twitter was the way you could tag the big brands' social media teams and actually get some attention when otherwise stuck in customer service hell.

It'd be nice if I could light up Nuveen in a way that motivated them to take action, but I guess we can't have nice things anymore.

@DaveMWilburn The nice thing about golden age Twitter was that all the brands were in one place. Social media has fragmented since. Maybe Nuveen has social media presence elsewhere. For example, Linux Mint support is now on Matrix.
