SAVE Act wants everyone to get passports & birth certificates in order to vote. Passports & Birth Certificates are delivered by US mail…because US mail is trustworthy enough to deliver those. SAVE Act also wants to outlaw voting by US mail…because US mail is untrustworthy for votes?

SAVE Act is voter suppression by another name. And a poll tax. GOP can't win without banning some people from voting. Logic, ethics, & Justice have nothing to do w/SAVE Act. Stop pretending otherwise.

If you ever have to deal with a federal agency that requires login.gov, you already have to provide them with a real ID or passport and a separate photograph.

@bitsavers it is all predicated on things that the Act claims are less secure. It is a bureaucratic shell game at best.

My county’s recorder office only has 20 clerk windows to serve a population of 1.9 million. How is that going to work out by November?
