Stumbled across one of my old hand built web pages. For many years I commuted 11 miles by bicycle every day from Scottsdale to Tempe AZ when I worked at the Maricopa Community Colleges.

I shared the route in narrative and rather tiny size photos.

@cogdog ๐Ÿ˜ž (oops! UPDATE! That bicycle got stolen from the rack at work.)

Sorry.

What an amazing collection of webby stuff you have!

@cogdog ๐Ÿคฃ โ€œOkay, another tangential side lecture.โ€

You are a funny guy and a good teller of tales.

@cogdog very cool you got to pass by the botanical gardens! Wow!
@cogdog โ€œSomewhere in north Phoenix there is probably a "Nixon Avenue" ๐Ÿ˜‚

@cogdog dang. That was epic! Thanks for the ride!

I highly recommend, โ€œAlan's Wacked Out Virtual Bicycle Commute from the twisted dimension of
alans wacky weird web.โ€

@toddconaway Thanks for taking the ride with me.

I started doing it by road bike, but 2 incidents with being forced off the road or road rage drivers compelled me to go mountain bike.

@cogdog great looking site! I went to Maricopa CC a couple years back - didn't bike there though! ๐Ÿ˜…

@jake4480 Always great to hear positive Maricopa Community College stories. It was/is such a great educational system.

Also, the banks of the SRP canals are an incredible system on Phoenix for biking and walking. Plus a fascinating part of history of water in the valley (you may likely know)
