Our new induction hob has a fan that points down into the drawer below. If it has excess heat, why isn't it pushing it towards warming the pans I'm cooking with instead of the utencils I'm not?
@rjek That might genuinely be a fan that was wired or mounted backwards by mistake.
@spacehobo Good point, although even if it is the wrong way around, why is it sucking in air from a closed drawer to cool itself? Surely there will be backpressure.
@rjek @spacehobo Maybe the problem is they know that any vents on the top are bound to get wet with food/water.
