Idle thought: "buffalo" would be a good name for a coding agent. Then you could say things like "buffaloed buffalo", "buffalo buffaloed", "buffaloing buffulo", "unbuffaloed buffalo", "buffaloed buffalo buffaloed", "buffalo rebuffaloed", "buffalo buffaloes buffalo", and so on.

When fed back into buffalo's training, maybe all this writing would eventually drive buffalo into the singularity or some kind of other BS.

It could be its own code review... "the code looks pretty buffaloed to me. Have fun with that."

@dabeaz I sometimes wonder if I hooked up a monitor and keyboard to an ATMega2560, wrote a quick and dirty OS, hacked up a little spreadsheet/editor/word processor app, made a couple dumb simple games ... wouldn't life be so much nicer? Does our current trajectory eventually crush under it's own weight and we start the cycle over with something super simple again? I dunno, probably not.

Edit: I suppose there is no stopping me from doing that right now. Except first I want to see if Claude can help me add volumetric clouds and atmospheric effects to my photo real flight sim visual engine (open source of course.)

@dabeaz or just call it Bull and you can call anything it produces BS.
@mdione No, not bull. Buffalo. No bull.

@dabeaz

You wouldn't happen to live in western NY? Then your Buffalo buffalo could buffalo Buffalo buffalo… 😆
