How you can tell someone else has closed the place instead of me 😅
I’m not that anal, I promise, but I do like my knives grouped and in a somewhat order by size. And facing the same way.

@quester very neat, I approve 👍🏻😊 I recently put up a magnetic knife strip for my dad and he put all his knives on it randomly, and just one was facing a different way. I could not let that go 😆 But it must be relaxing to be the sort of person who doesn't even notice that, mustn't it?!

I mean I get that it is part of my neurodivergence, but in this regard I think there is also a safety factor.
But I do like things being where they belong or where I have put them for an extended period of time.
I don’t mind if someone wants to make a permanent change, like during some cleanup, but I would like to be consulted 😂

@quester safety! So true and omg that triggered me remembering last night's dream: someone put my paring knife in the dishwasher blade up (so wrong) and I grabbed all the cutlery in one go - ouch! My dream didn't tell me who did it so I shall now be suspicious of all my friends for a few days 🤣
