I’ve done everything I wanted to do today. Had a wonderful swim at the pool for an hour or so. Dropped into the SES on the way home & they gave me a dozen bags to put sand in that my son in law will fill for me. I’ll only need half filled probably though. Got home & changed clothes to head out & visit my sister in hospital to learn she’s being discharged today, which is great but no resolution to her problems which is mainly due to chronic conditions, her age etc. I also know it’s very likely to keep happening.
Stopped in at Dan Murphy on the way home to grab a bottle of wine for the weekend & then to the local greengrocers for some fresh veg & salad stuff. Nearly 2pm before I got home for a small lunch of a crumpet with Vegemite to tide me over until dinner.
Satisfied with the day & pretty weary now. #BusyDay.

@feather1952 Sounds as though you've had a satisfyingly productive day Heather. I, on the other hand, have been out for breakfast with my daughter, her partner and my smallest grandson. Got home and they came in to play with the Thomas the Tank Engine toys. When they left I had a nap. Then my daughter came back with my biggest grandson and took away all the bottles and cans for recycling. Then I replaced the plastic clips on the car seat cover that Monty had chewed off. And a bit of vacuuming somewhere in there too. 😄

It was satisfying & productive. I’ve been yawning since about 4pm 😬. It’s good though.
You’ve had quite a busy family day yourself & they’re very special & important. Plus Monty repair jobs 😁.
