Aus folks, anyone know when is roughly the quietest time to go to the post office? Or alternatively, which days/times to avoid due to extra busy-ness?
@3TomatoesShort I went in early one time and there wasn't much of a queue. About 9.15am and it opened at 9am. But that was one time...
@rowlandm
That will still be useful if others say the same thing, thanks πŸ‘πŸ»
@3TomatoesShort (unhelpful) I find there are far fewer people about two hours after close.
@3TomatoesShort - mines usually more quiet around 2pm. It's post-lunch but before school pick-up times.
@aby @3TomatoesShort yeah, that's a good bet. Otherwise maybe around 11am, after people who do stuff early but before lunch?
@3TomatoesShort because I dont do crowds as much as possible, i usually try a tuesday at like 2pm. I figure between lunch and close rushes and people doing morning errands will be done. I also have a post office that is more rural or a more city one that are the same distance, so I perfer to go to the more rural one. Idk if your area might have a more popular and less popular option like that, but it could be something to look into. Hope any of that helps a bit!
@3TomatoesShort Lunches tend to be super busy, but I've waited outside the front door of my local in West Perth at 9am and been one of only two customers. We're surrounded by businesses too.

Awesome, thanks πŸ‘πŸ»
