I’ve done everything I wanted to do today. Had a wonderful swim at the pool for an hour or so. Dropped into the SES on the way home & they gave me a dozen bags to put sand in that my son in law will fill for me. I’ll only need half filled probably though. Got home & changed clothes to head out & visit my sister in hospital to learn she’s being discharged today, which is great but no resolution to her problems which is mainly due to chronic conditions, her age etc. I also know it’s very likely to keep happening.
Stopped in at Dan Murphy on the way home to grab a bottle of wine for the weekend & then to the local greengrocers for some fresh veg & salad stuff. Nearly 2pm before I got home for a small lunch of a crumpet with Vegemite to tide me over until dinner.
Satisfied with the day & pretty weary now. #BusyDay.

Correct Heather. Only half fill sand bags and fold the open end over. It makes them easier to carry, they will stack better (like bricks) and easier to recoup the sand and bags after use. At leasst that’s what they taught me in the army.

Yes, they were really good explaining everything & if I forget it’s on their website & I was shown where to find it. Lovely people.
