You chose to speed. Losing your licence was not a trauma. You did not lose your independence, you had to find other ways to get around because you do not have any god-given right to drive wherever you want whenever you want at whatever speed you want. And seriously, caught five times and you didn't notice the demerits building up? Suddenly there's a letter telling you you're licence is suspended?
