@arstechnica Isn't it going to be fun when the regime starts bringing back stuff like spreading rabies, children with warped limbs caused by polio, etc etc?

I wonder if they'll even bring back the bubonic plague. I bet Mr. I Do Cocaine Off Of Toilet Seats would love to bring the bubonic plague to America. He'll have to convince everyone that antibiotics are bad too though first I guess. Seems he can do it though. The Base eat that crap right up.

@arstechnica As with other divisions, department heads who lay off the clerks and the people who get things done because they do not understand everything that happens...

This also happens in a lot of companies. See 2024-2025 Tech sector.

@arstechnica America's public health infrastructure was already under stress before RFK Jr. arrived: underfunded, politically pressured, trust-depleted after COVID. What's happening now isn't stress. It's targeted demolition of the specific mechanisms designed to make political interference in scientific judgment institutionally difficult.
