#YouTube is trying so hard to "poison" my feed, I can see why a lot of people start falling down dark rabbit holes this way
My feed is mostly; science, space, politics and some gamedev but especially in the first two
Made up bullshit can be used to hook people for a lot longer then actual facts these days I guess
And it's always down a negative path it seems
@stux You can most clearly see the effect by using anon ('incognito') browser mode over a VPN. This gives YT nothing to use as background for making suggestions that are unrelated to the current video.
Then access some video you're interested in, say music or renewable energy, and lo and behold... Youtube insists on suggesting the most awful non-related crap. They are probably a worse source of brainwashing than even Xitter.
