Happy Friday Eve, all! Today will involve work of course, then baking brownies for an event tomorrow. I think they’re going to be double chocolate with the addition of crushed heath bars in them. I hate that I’ve so much anxiety around cutting them. Anybody got any tips? I have one of those pans that divides into squares but I’m baking in a bigger disposable pan so I can bake and transport. Plus there’s probably going to be 20 people and the divider brownie pans make only 12. Bonus points if you’re cutting them sans sight. I really suck at cutting straight for some reason especially when the thing is a big square that must be broken down into smaller squares or rectangles. lol I hope everyone has a good day. @amy0223 Yum, heathbar brownies. Now you got me thinking. Good luck with the cutting. I'm terrible at it too. My advice, bring a knife to the event and ask someone you know there to do it. Or just leave the pan out with the knife next to it like cut your own. lol.
@pawpower Well technically they’re not heath bars. They’re the milk chocolate bars with toffee in them. But I think they’ll still be good. I threw in some cooled very strong coffee too because it brings out the chocolate. The batter tastes amazing! I hope they’re as good baked off. Smelling good so far. I’m going to resist the temptation to steal some because I’m letting them cut their own pieces. Hahaha. It’ll be hard. They’ve still got about 15 minutes left to bake.
