[1/2] So, i updated my #Mastodon server. I have been putting this off forever because it was so much messing around. I initially installed it on a #RaspberryPi with everything running natively. I wanted to install it and hold data on #DIgitalOcean spaces, but I had issues getting the S3 driver to resovle correctly.

I also wanted to run this on #docker, but once my server was running, I just let it run for years. it was a few minor versions behind, and every further minor version, i let it ride.

[2/3] I put this all off because I knew exactly what needed to be done to put this all together, but I just couldn't bear to sit down to all that toil.

So, I decided that while I was busy doing other things today, i would give #Claude a shot at it. There was not much that could be broken or messed up.

it took about of day of back and forth when I had time to address questions and permissions it asked.

Surprisingly, it did everything exactly as I would have done it.
