Well fuck.

Here's the thing: I have never once seen "giant company buys open source project I like" turn out to be good for the user, or that open source project.

Zoom and keybase - I'm looking at you.

And I have no reason to believe this is going to end any better.

@arstechnica I didn't like Astral before for taking decades of work of open source maintainers, repacking it and creating company around it. Now, I don't like it even more.
