I haven't seen any reasonable response on the undocumented change. The negative reviews are starting to come in.
The one review response suggesting using native Android font settings is pretty useless. Android like in original html was poorly implemented early on forcing web sites to overly magnify fonts over default sizes. It took 20+ years and even now many web sites still use fonts either too large or too small (in some cases both).
K9 version 16.1 is out without restoring the font size adjustment configuration.
I'm still running version 13.0 on my main device.
Android font size
preferences are as bad as the web font size preferences. Good idea but just doesn't work well.
#k9mail and #thunderbird for android version 17.0 are out. There is still no fix to the font size regression from several versions ago.
Please restore this functionality. Android system fonts sizes just do not work.
