Today's Game is Yesterday's Job
I used to work at a Blockbuster, I’m not sure I’d want to relive those days.
My favorite was when customers would come in with the cards we mailed out letting them know they were in collections for a late return. something like $4.25 (yes we’d send people to collections for the cost of a rental) and they’d always have the same complaint “I’M TRYING TO BUY A HOUSE AND THIS IS DESTROYING MY CREDIT, REMOVE IT!” which I always did cause man…it was $4.25.
More like, “well for just $4.25, plus my convenience fee of $100, we can resolve this problem”
I love being assholes to assholes, so the chub is just a side benefit.
For bitching about $4 that they should have paid weeks/months ago, bothering staff like like that is going to be an easy way out. Using a bullshit excuse for pity.
If you can’t afford $4, what house are you buying? Exactly. They just expect to be treated ‘different’, because ‘they’ are ‘better’.
