Just want to say this is something I'm guilty of as well in my career as an engineer, and have been trying to get better at recognizing it before it happens.

Reminds me of how e.g. backend developers usually don't have an eye for details like formatting emails/messages properly etc. - it's a dimension not relevant from their point of view 😅

@rival_elf What i often see are engineers trying to solve engineering problems, when they should solve business/people problems. Technology does not exist for the sake of technology. There is no room for "cool stuff" in business.
