@FediTips Nice! I refused to pay AllTrails (I was an early user on EveryTrail) and lost access to most of my kayaking routes.
@FediTips
I am quite interested in the tool, but just a question, on a mobile device, you use it via the browser? I didn’t find an iOS app. Any further information available?

@Be_Kinky

It's quite a new platform so I do not think there is any mobile app? It would definitely work through the browser though.

@FediTips thanks for your reply, I will try it out

@FediTips this is exciting! I left Strava a year ago or so, one of the very last corporate-owned social networks I was still using. I’ve been hoping for a FOSS and federated solution ever since.

I signed up on a Wanderer server to check it out, but I think the software needs work before it will be a practical replacement for something like Strava. Limited activities (no running?) and loads of issues updating profile, finding others to follow, checking my feed, etc. I’ll keep checking back, though. Hopefully this will be a proper solution in a year or so.

Thanks for the tip!
