just got a phishing email to the unique email address I used for #WIRED – checked with #HIBP & yup, they were popped in December (or before)

it really would have been nice to get an email from WIRED or #CondeNast to let me know, hey?

so now I have to trudge through the absolute shitfuckery that is the Conde Nast / WIRED account management system to roll my password… 😩😡🤬

@nikkid yes, same – but that only works for either a small number of specified emails or via domain subscription, and the pricing isn’t really optimised for “nerds who use a couple of domains for email & create a unique email address (via catchall) for every service they sign up for” 🙃

@itgrrl Huh I think I did get a random email from them this week but ignored it. I also have a unique email for them and it was on HIBP. Thanks for the heads-up.
