For anyone interested in The Lord of the Rings, there is an amazing audiobook with music, sound effects, different voices for the characters, etc, all done by one person. It almost sounds like you're watching a movie even though its an audiobook. It was published for free by its creator, and I have been hosting it on my server for a while because the original website is hard to download from. I also fixed the ID3 tags to make media players organize the files correctly. https://lotr.emassey0135.dev

@emassey0135 There are stuff like this for Harry Potter too, both books by Stephen Fry and Jim Dale are enhanced with music and sound effects.
Would you willing to host them if I can send you? The creators are giving it for free, or I can give you the creators username for you to get it from them and host it for our Blind community
@emassey0135 Thanks for this. I stopped at The Hobbit, but I just shared it with my DIL who just got back from a trip to NZ to Lord of the Rings world or whatever it's called.
@emassey0135
Thanks for hosting the files.
Do they have to get downloaded separately, one by one, manually?
Or is there a way to load them all in one download (like a zip)?
@fasnix Right now they are just hosted as individual files, but I can create zip files as well if you want.
@emassey0135
That would be great!

@emassey0135 @WeirdWriter Thankyou. I just need to make the time.

(Only listened to the first minute, but for me it's enough).

@emassey0135 Thank you for making this available.

While I was making the kids' lunch boxes and dropping off the middle one at work, I gave it a listen.

And I have to say: Guys, this is really good! If you like audiobooks and/or The Lord of the Rings, give it a listen.

Thank you @emassey0135
