I have gone viral.
For the first time in my life as a YouTuber, I published a video four weeks ago, and it just keeps going — now approaching half a million views.
I am so eternally grateful, because I hope this will open new doors for me in 2026, including — I hope — being able to make a living through my work.
I remember feeling humbled as 300 people listened to my presentation in Vienna in 2024. But realizing that an entire city of 486,370 people have watched this video feels surreal.

But I still have a long way to go. Even publishing this video will not make me the legal minimum wage this month, though ads are shown to people watching.
This is because YouTube auctions off the ads, and the final bid always ends up at just a few dollars per 1000 views.
So if anyone asks if they should begin a career as a YouTuber, my answer is no. I am doing it, because I feel I have to defend the truth in a time of lies. I just hope I get to making a living, before my savings run out.

The video explains how Trump's return to power bears a strong resemblance to Hitler's fascist takeover of Germany in the 1930s, and it also brings a hopeful message on why it will be much more difficult for Trump to end democracy, than it was for Hitler.
