I'm reading Sean Carrol's "The Biggest Ideas in the Universe - Quanta and Fields" in an effort to better understand what you post about. It helps, but I can see that there is a gap there I can never close.
But, I will continue to follow your posts and understand what I can.
Sean's book is great but very cosmology/theory oriented.
I think there are some more experimental-oriented books that would be better. Maybe this one by Gavin Hesketh: https://www.amazon.com/Particle-Zoo-Search-Fundamental-Reality/dp/1784298700 or this one by Ivo van Vulpin: https://www.amazon.com/Higgs-Boson-Other-Mysteries-World-ebook/dp/B084DQSTTN/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1LQ7EE2CI725V&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.d8wI43fyJuRClgQJODGuFw.vkNJ1nnfy3kRayVlEOZBzkW-SyKii6WKMtoFyJymBdU&dib_tag=se&keywords=ivo+van+vulpen&qid=1773915522&sprefix=Ivo+van+v%2Caps%2C201&sr=8-1
