aevai told my mom about my backup career plan (simply become a successful independent artist working in a medium I've never worked in significantly before) if the kleptocapitalists who are ripping the figurative copper out of the walls manage to crash the video games industry hard enough that i have to consider regular programming as a backup plan which they're also working around the clock to wall off, and she didn't try to talk me out of it lol
